Zoë Kravitz Shares Enthusiasm for Taylor Swift’s New Album
Zoë Kravitz has expressed her excitement for her friend Taylor Swift’s forthcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” even going so far as to say it’s a five-star effort.
In a recent chat with Extra while promoting her film, “Catch Stealing,” Kravitz remarked, “Of course it’s great. There’s no skip.” During the interview, host Tommy Didalio noted that having no skips on an album is quite rare, to which Kravitz confidently stated, “Not for her.”
The friendship between Kravitz, 36, and Swift, 35, began nearly a decade ago when they were spotted dining together in New York City. Their bond has remained strong, with Kravitz attending one of Swift’s ERAS tour stops in London last year.
Just last November, the two were seen together again in New York shortly after Kravitz announced her engagement to Channing Tatum.
Recently, Swift announced that her new album will feature 12 tracks during an episode of the “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce.
“This is my brand new album,” she shared, adding that it’s centered around her inner thoughts and experiences during her record tour from March 2023 to December 2024.
Kravitz, while discussing the album, echoed Swift’s sentiment that it’s created from a “joyful, wild and dramatic place” she had never accessed before. Swift described the project as one that focuses on quality and themes that seamlessly fit together.
In the podcast episode, the tracklist was revealed, including songs titled “The Oldest Sister,” “Elizabeth Taylor,” “Father Figure,” and “Substantiate Friendship.”
Fans will have to be patient for more insights into the album, although Swift has teased that Sabrina Carpenter will contribute to the title track.
The eagerly anticipated album is set for release on October 3rd.
Before this, Kravitz shared a humorous anecdote about how Swift hosted her after a recent incident involving her pet snake. While on “Late Night with Seth Myers,” Kravitz recounted a little mischief when her snake found a hole in Swift’s bathroom, leading to a wall that needed repair.
