Zoey Deutch and Jimmy Tatro are taking a big step—they’re engaged! The 30-year-old actress shared the happy news on Instagram, revealing that Tatro, 33, proposed three months ago.
“Three months of engagement with the love of my life,” Deutch wrote, sharing a sweet moment with her fiancé while showcasing her sparkling engagement ring.
Deutch also posted pictures from the proposal itself, which took place on a beach. Tatro popped the question while down on one knee, and Deutch looked radiant in a stylish yellow halter dress. Tatro, on the other hand, dressed casually in a white button-up shirt and pants, going barefoot for the occasion.
The romantic setup featured a cozy pillow on the sand, along with a festive drink, adding to the picturesque moment.
The couple made their relationship public on Valentine’s Day 2021 and has since offered glimpses into their life together on social media. They’ve shared sweet birthday tributes and fun times with friends, like fellow former couples Nina Dobrev and Shaun White.
Deutch has mentioned that Tatro was previously “highly opposed” to certain things, as she shared on the “Betches U Up?” podcast in August 2022. Interestingly, Deutch believes that opposites attract, saying, “I think I would be very boring if I were to date someone who agreed with me about everything.” She’s fully aware that she’s with her “actual extreme opposite” now.
In November, Tatro affectionately referred to Deutch as his “favourite person” on Instagram, capturing their endearing dynamic.
