The 10-year-old, from San Bernardino, California, is a month apart with two associate degrees from Crafton Hills College.
She will be the youngest graduate of Yukaipa-based community college. Inland Empire Community News. Her final GPA will be “close” to 4.0.
Alisa Perales began taking classes when she was only eight years old and turned 11 at the time of her graduation ceremony.

“It’s so much fun for me. It’s almost as fun as playing outside, riding a bike, doing anything. I enjoy learning. There’s a lot of interesting things out there,” Alisa said.
With a homeschooling background, Perales believed that her father had pushed her to do her best in school and work hard.

A post about the Inland Empire Community News Facebook page boasts that she once used her political science coursework to file a federal lawsuit challenging young people’s voting rights.
She would have received two additional degrees in computer science and physics.

“When I first started with Crafton (age 8), I was a little nervous… because this was my first time going to public school,” Alisa said.
The young genius is not finished yet. She has plans to work in the artificial intelligence technology industry.
