Homeland Security Highlights Detained Illegal Immigrants

Christie Noem, from the Department of Homeland Security, recently showcased several illegal immigrants detained by immigration enforcement, mentioning alarming crimes like “12 different sexual offenses against children.”

In a video shared on her X account, Noem explained that she receives a daily report listing illegal immigrants apprehended by enforcement agents. She pointed out that these individuals represent some of the “worst of the worst” and stressed that they are indeed criminals.

“Today, we’re focusing on Guatemalans. One was involved in an aggravated assault against police officers,” she stated, while flipping through documents containing photos of these offenders.

“This one—rape of a victim under 17,” she continued, moving to the next case. “Another assaulted an elderly individual with disabilities.”

The fourth case she presented highlighted, “There are 12 sexual offenses against a child, including two counts of aggravated rape, two obscene assaults, and two counts of battery.”

Noem affirmed, “Thanks to our ICE enforcement officers and law enforcement across the country, these individuals are off the streets today. We appreciate your efforts in making America safe again and thank President Donald J. Trump.”

These incidents coincided with a recent update from the Department of Homeland Security, which detailed some of the criminal histories of illegal aliens detained during operations in Los Angeles, leading to significant protests and unrest.

A number of these criminal records involve crimes against children.

One arrested individual, Eswin Uriel Castro, had previously faced deportation. His charges include “child abuse and weapon possession,” according to DHS records. He had also been apprehended for robbery and domestic violence.

Another individual, Anastasio Enrique Solis Salinas from Nicaragua, was arrested for intentional child cruelty and has prior convictions for domestic violence and various assaults.

Miguel Angel Parafox Montes had returned to Mexico involuntarily twice before being caught by ICE. He has a history of criminal convictions including grand larceny, drug offenses, identity theft, and related charges.

Other charges among detained individuals include second-degree murder, sexual assault, and child abuse, among various violent offenses.

In addition, DHS records indicate that during President Trump’s first 100 days, 75% of ICE arrests involved criminal aliens with existing convictions or pending charges.

Recently, there has also been a reported surge in attacks on ICE agents, with incidents rising by 500% as they attempted to detain illegal immigrants.
