A 13-year-old boy was identified as the suspect behind the wheel of a white Kia that crashed into a popular Southern California Latino bakery before a group of looters ransacked the store. Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna announced Tuesday that the boy was involved in another robbery a few days later.
The “street takeover” happened on January 2nd at Reuben's Bakery & Mexican Food. Surveillance cameras showed about 100 looters rampaging inside, ramming the front door of a white Kia repeatedly until they were forced to give way.
Ruben Ramirez Jr. told American Report earlier this month that property losses totaled $70,000, with even more unimaginable costs to the bakery and the families left behind. He said there was.
Days after the bakery incident, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputy said he was entering a Carson 7-Eleven toward the end of his shift when he noticed an armed robbery in progress. FOX11 reported.

“As soon as we opened the door, we realized everyone was actually behind the counter,” LASD Deputy Luis Cisneros told the TV station. “One of them was taking items off the shelf, one of them was reaching into the cash register, and one of them and the other were standing facing the cashier. When I saw them , I quickly drew my weapon. Then it was over. Like something took over me, I did everything I could to survive and make sure this outcome was resolved peacefully. I did. ”
Four people were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

Sheriff Robert Luna held a press conference on Tuesday to announce the arrest of the suspect in the Reuben's Bakery incident. One of those people was identified as the driver of a Kia vehicle that had backed into the store.
The boy was arrested on Jan. 12 on charges of driving a vehicle without the owner's consent, theft inciting a riot, and felony criminal damage to property. Because he was a juvenile, he was released to his family, but less than a day later he was rearrested on suspicion of involvement in the Carson robbery.
