18,000 'Known or Suspected Terrorists' Entered the U.S. Under Joe Biden's Leadership

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) has disclosed that President Joe Biden’s approach to mass migration at the US-Mexico border has led to approximately 18,000 “known or suspected terrorists” entering the United States over the past four years.

A report from National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) Director Joe Kent highlighted in Congress that the Biden administration has identified thousands of individuals with ties to terrorism living in American communities, having been released into the country due to existing border policies.

“I think the most significant threat to our country at the moment is the uncertainty surrounding who has crossed our borders during the last four years. It’s concerning, and I felt it necessary to share this with you,” Kent stated in Congress late last week.

“These individuals would typically not be permitted into our country because of their affiliations with jihadist groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda. Yet, the Biden administration not only allowed their entry but also, in many instances, facilitated it.” [Emphasis added]

Kent noted that Biden’s Operation Welcoming Allies resulted in tens of thousands of Afghan nationals being brought to the United States, many of whom were not thoroughly vetted or interviewed, including known terrorists and suspects.

“Contrary to reports, these individuals did not undergo proper vetting for entry into the United States. Some of the terrorists involved in the attacks in Washington, D.C., were thoroughly vetted to serve as soldiers in Afghanistan,” Kent mentioned. “It seems that the Biden administration utilized this level of scrutiny as a pretext to bring them into our communities, and we’ve sadly seen the consequences of that.”

He elaborated:

“Out of a cohort of 88,000, we identified 2,000 individuals [Afghans] connected to terrorist organizations. We are currently collaborating with DHS and the FBI to address these 2,000 Afghans who were admitted under the allied welcome as well as 16,000 others with similar ties.” [Emphasis added]

Recently, it was reported that Afghans shot at National Guard soldiers Sarah Beckstrom, 20, and Andrew Wolf, 24, in Washington, D.C., resulting in Beckstrom’s death while Wolf fought for his life in the hospital.

The Afghan national involved, 29-year-old Rahmanullah Rakanwar, had been brought to the United States by the Biden administration through Operation Welcoming Allies.

Additionally, last year, a 27-year-old Afghan national was detained in Oklahoma for allegedly plotting a terrorist attack on Election Day. He was also admitted to the U.S. under Biden’s Operation Welcoming Allies.
