As the investigation into the disappearance of two Kansas mothers who went missing in late March continues, two bodies have been discovered in rural Oklahoma.

Veronica Butler, 27, and Jillian Kelly, 39, both of Hugoton, Kansas, have been missing since March 30th. The two mothers were driving in Oklahoma to pick up Butler’s children from a birthday party in Kansas. ABC News reported.
The two women were considered acquaintances because Kelly supervised Butler’s visits with his children, who lived with their paternal grandparents in Eva, Oklahoma.
Officials said two mothers were missing that day and their bloodstained car was found abandoned in rural Oklahoma near the Kansas border, but they were not sure where they were. It was also not found.
The day before her body was discovered, four people were arrested and charged in connection with her disappearance.
Tad Burt Cullum, 43 years old. Tiffany Machelle Adams, 54 years old. Cole Earl Twombly, 50 years old. and Cora Twombly, 44, were taken into custody Saturday and booked into the Texas County Jail.
All four suspects were charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of kidnapping, and one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
According to , Adams is the paternal grandmother of Butler’s children and Callum is her boyfriend. news nation.
Cole and Cora Twombly have been in a relationship for eight years and are friends on Facebook with Adams.
On Saturday, multiple law enforcement agencies responded to properties in Cimarron and Texas counties, including Adams’ home.
One person was arrested in Cimarron County and the other three were charged in Texas County.
Butler is said to be in the midst of a bitter custody battle with her children’s father for full custody, and for increased visitation time.
Adams is said to have had custody of Butler’s children at the time of her disappearance; KFOR reported.
