A trio of diminutive bank robbers known as the “Little Villains” were arrested by the FBI on Tuesday for allegedly robbing a Wells Fargo in Houston.
Three boys, ages 11, 12 and 16, were charged with robbery by intimidation. This was announced by the FBI field office in Houston..
“As they are juveniles, their names and further details will not be released,” the station said in a post about X.
Images of three baby-faced suspects blown away after last Thursday’s robbery. All three were wearing hoodies and didn’t look old enough to drive a car or watch an R-rated movie.
Witnesses said the bank robbers were between 14 and 18 years old, the FBI said last week.
In calling attention to the incident, the FBI dubbed the group of boys “Little Villains,” recalling a 1994 incident. Movie masterpiece “Little Rascals” Friction arises between the group of boys because one of them, Alfalfa, likes a girl.
Several social media users made light of the knee-deep robbery.
One user quipped: “The sentence was a one-year TV ban and a three-page essay on why robbery is wrong.”
Another person joked, “Houston’s crime syndicate is certainly unique.”
