From a political perspective, Thursday’s special counsel report is the perfect storm of bad news for wrong-doing Joe Biden, and an equally perfect storm of good news for former President Donald Trump. It’s a storm.
President Trump could not have hoped for a better outcome than that provided by Special Counsel Robert Hur.
receive these one by one:
Our investigation uncovered evidence that President Biden knowingly retained and disclosed classified materials after becoming Vice President and while a civilian. These materials include (1) marked classified documents related to Afghanistan’s military and foreign policy, and (2) Biden’s handwritten notes on national security and foreign policy issues involving classified intelligence sources and methods. Contains written notes. FBI agents recovered the materials from the garage, office and basement of Mr. Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware, home.
And yet, as I write this, the Biden administration is desperately trying to indict and jail Trump for the same thing. The corporate media is already trying to protect Biden on two talking points: 1) The special counsel has declined to file charges against Biden, and 2) After all these classified documents were seized, Biden is more likely than Trump to return classified documents. Documents that were willing to cooperate with.
But that’s called hair splitting. It seems absurd that Biden would persecute his opponent in the main opposition party for the same act. Additionally, while fake media outlets have reported that President Trump is uncooperative with the return of documents, President Trump says his team is not uncooperative and has no opinion on what the former president should be allowed to keep. It is claimed that there was a discrepancy.
“We conclude that the evidence is not sufficient to convict and reject Mr. Biden’s recommendation for prosecution for possession of classified Afghan documents,” the report said.

By refusing to prosecute Mr. Biden, the special counsel confirmed Mr. Trump’s claim that he was a victim of a two-tiered judicial system, which is true. Shortly after the special counsel’s report was released, President Trump’s senior adviser Jason Miller appeared on NewsNation. He said the decision not to indict Biden “speaks very clearly that our justice system is two-tiered.” A selective prosecution game is being played here. ”
“From our perspective, this is very much election interference,” he said. continuation. “I think the reason these legal attacks are happening against President Trump is to try to cover up what we see against Joe Biden.”
From a purely political standpoint, Biden would have been much better off had a special counsel been chosen to prosecute. Doing so would not only undermine the validity of President Trump’s “two-tiered” argument and even make it easier to convict President Trump, but it would also make it easier to convict President Trump, not only among Democrats, but also because Trump’s “two-tier structure” argument centered around the flag. There would have been a rally of support.
The report states:
Mr. Biden’s memory was severely limited, both in a recorded interview with a ghostwriter in 2017 and with our office in 2023. …We also thought it was likely that Mr. Biden would appear before a jury at trial. As when we interviewed him, he was a sympathetic and well-meaning older man with a poor memory. …In interviews with our office, Mr. Biden’s memory was even worse. He doesn’t remember when he was vice president, forgets the first day of the interview when his term ended (“If it was 2013, when did you stop being vice president?”), and the second day of the interview. had forgotten when his term ended. His term has begun (“2009, Am I Still Vice President?”). He did not remember when his son Beau died, even years later.
Although the report states that “the evidence does not prove Mr. Biden’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt,” the special counsel also said, “We believe that Mr. Biden is likely to appear before a jury at trial.” “There is,” he said. “He was a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” he said during our interview, “It would be difficult to convince a jury to convict him – he was already well over 80 years old. Although the former president…” is a serious felony requiring a deliberate state of mind. ”
The special counsel basically said that Joe Biden cannot be prosecuted because of his age and mental incompetence. This is a big disaster for the Biden campaign and the corporate media palace guard.
The biggest problem for Biden supporters is that the only way to prove that the special counsel is right and he is wrong is for Biden himself to prove that he is wrong. But as everyone saw in last night’s disastrous (for Biden) press conference, Biden has gone too far to make anyone believe he is not.
Big moments for Biden were rare early in his failed presidency. While these moments remain alarming and were clear signs that Biden was heading into the sunset, there may have been a few pretty good weeks in between. That’s no longer the case. Every time he makes a public appearance, you wince. He moves like a nursing home patient, walks around like a Roomba, constantly loses his train of thought, has slurred speech, and has no idea who the President of Mexico is, or who German Chancellor Helmut Kohl or François Mitterand are. I can’t remember basic things, such as the fact that I’ve passed away. He can’t even remember when he was vice president.
We will give you a free signed book tag. purchase John Nolte’s debut novel borrowed time (Bombardier Books).
There is nothing predictable or formulaic about this novel. Nolte is a very talented writer and can turn a phrase around. The characterization was very well done and each one was a sophisticated little vignette. The characters are deeply engraved in your mind and make you want to keep reading. There is a very beautiful spiritual atmosphere to this whole book, and Nolte used different themes and symbolism than I remember any recent author. There are parts of this book that are like lyric poems. I laughed and cried and was very moved. — 5 star reviews
