According to a Los Angeles Police Department news release, officers made the arrests early Thursday morning based on a search warrant and seized additional evidence.

No details about the arrests or evidence were released.

Wachter was shot and killed in the early hours of May 25th while trying to stop a thief from stealing a catalytic converter from his car.

Police said the 37-year-old man was returning home after work at a rooftop bar with co-workers when he saw three men lifting his car.

Police said one of the assailants opened fire on him without provocation, killing him.

Police said the men fled in a vehicle and Wachter was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The county medical examiner said Wachter died from a gunshot wound to the chest and ruled the manner of death a homicide.

On August 5, police released security camera footage of the suspect and the getaway car and asked the public for help in identifying the suspect.

Wachter, a South Carolina native, played the role of Brando Corbin on the ABC soap opera from 2020 to 2022.

He also appeared in various films and television series, including “Station 19,” “NCIS,” “Westworld,” and the video game “Call of Duty: Vanguard.”

“He always maintained a positive attitude and strived to do his best,” Wachter’s agent, David Scholl, said shortly after his death.

At a press conference earlier this week, his mother spoke about her feelings at losing him.

“Sadness is something that’s always with me,” Scarlett Wachter said.

“I can’t celebrate his birthday on August 31st. He would have turned 38. I can’t ask him if he’s coming home for Christmas. I can’t ask him how his day went.”
