Boston's TD Garden is the place that takes place on Thursday night, and an explosion from the past has jacked up the final crowds of the four countries even more than before.
The US and Canadian hockey teams on ice for the 4 Nations Face Off Championship since 2016, five days after three fights in the first game in the first nine seconds, I've returned to.
The two teams were top point getters in round robin play (Canada owned a tiebreaker over Sweden) and meet again in Boston.

Before the game, two greats from the sport were celebrated. Wayne Gretzky and Mike Elzion served as honorary captains in their respective countries.
Elzion alone has a crowd of Americans as he was the captain of the 1980 Miracle on Ice team. But he gave the crowd something special to cheer on.
Elzion came along with his younger brother on the ice rocking the jersey of late NHL All-star Johnny Gordrow, who was killed in August on suspicion of being a drunk driver.
Mike Elgione from the “Miracle on Ice” Hero 4 Nations national anthem boo: “I was very disappointed.”
Gaudreau played in the US as a junior world in 2013 and won a gold medal that year. He also participated in the world ice hockey championships five times.

Gaudreau's presence was felt at this year's Four Nations Club. American jerseys give him his name, and 13 is often hung in the locker room.
