Campbell's decision not to play in the 12-6 loss to San Francisco angered head coach Kyle Shanahan and several teammates.
“It's not about what your team or your teammates can do, but you can still be a part of the team,” Shanahan said.

What makes this situation even wilder is the fact that the Niners thrive off of it, and it's part of the $3.35 million signing bonus the team gave Campbell in March when he signed a one-year deal. This is because he was able to save the club by suspending him. A $5 million contract.
San Fran easily won this fight… spectacularly… however you want to put it. Campbell was cooked here, how stupid.
