49ers’ Jauan Jennings may be fit for owners with roster hole

It's been a tough season in San Francisco. And the madman didn't help.

If all the injuries weren't bad enough, we've unintentionally cursed the rise of Jauan Jennings many times this year.

First, when Brandon Aiyuk played well in training camp, we expected him to get off to a slow start. We jumped on the Jennings bandwagon early thanks to the 49ers' offense being strong and a history of multiple layers that gives Jennings reliability when one of San Francisco's top two receivers is out or down. I did. And after a monster Week 3 (465 in PPR), it looked like a sharp take. But it didn't last. He succumbed to his own injuries after consecutive misfires.

By the time he returned in Week 10, Aiyuk was out for the season, and we screamed that Jennings would be a staple in our weekly fantasy lineups. And he did well for the first two weeks.
