San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall was released from the hospital on Sunday, less than a day after being injured in a shooting during an attempted robbery, the team announced.
The team added that Pearsall is still recovering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
“He, his family and the entire San Francisco 49ers organization would like to express their gratitude to the San Francisco Police Department, Emergency Medical Services and the doctors and staff at San Francisco General Hospital.”
