49ers player shot during attempted robbery
WARNING: Brutal footage – Fox News' Christina Coleman speaks with former D.C. homicide detective Ted Williams about the shooting death of San Francisco 49ers player Ricky Pearsall during an attempted robbery.
Former NFL star Chad Ochocinco Johnson said he learned “another lesson” from the shooting Saturday night that injured San Francisco 49ers rookie Ricky Pearsall.
The 17-year-old reportedly tried to rob Pearsall of his Rolex as he was on his way to an autograph signing session. Pearsall's mother, Erin, posted on Facebook that the bullet entered his chest and exited through his back, without piercing any vital organs. Pearsall was released from the hospital on Sunday.

Ochocinco and Shannon Sharpe discussed the Pearsall shooting hours after it was first reported on “The Nightcap,” and the former Cincinnati Bengals star said he learned another lesson from the shooting.
“There's another lesson from this: Nothing is worth your life,” the former wide receiver said. “Just buy another Rolex. If someone's trying to steal your car, just buy another car.”
Sharp asked Ochocinco if he would still give up his possessions even if the robbers were unarmed. Ochocinco said he was doing his best to avoid further incidents.
“I understand what you're saying Ocho. You're right. 1000% right. I've been in the same situation. And I didn't look back. I took him at his word,” Sharp explained.

49ers' Ricky Piersol released from hospital after being shot during robbery attempt
Authorities said Pearsall, 23, was walking alone in the Union Square area just after 3:30 p.m. local time when a suspect tried to rob him at gunpoint. San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott said more than one shot was fired.
“A struggle ensued between Mr. Pearsall and the suspect, resulting in bullets being fired from the suspect's firearm striking both Mr. Pearsall and the suspect.”
The gun was listed as belonging to the suspect and was recovered. Scott said investigators believe the boy acted alone, adding that there is no indication that Pearsall was targeted because he is a football player.
