Most celebrities do their best to hit the right conscious topics when the cameras are rolling, but not 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson.
50 Cent, along with civil rights attorney Ben Crump, visited Capitol Hill this week to meet with Republican and Democratic lawmakers.
There, 50 Cent confronted a CBS reporter.
“We’re heading into the next election, have you made a decision?” the reporter asked the famous rapper.
“Honestly, I don’t know how to answer that question,” 50 Cent said, indicating he hadn’t decided yet. “What do you think is the importance of African-American men in this election?” the reporter asked.
“They seem to sympathize with Trump,” he replied.
When asked why he thought that, 50 Cent replied, “Because they were indicted for violating the RICO Act.”
Dave Rubin knows exactly why 50 Cent believes black men will identify with the former president.
“The system is targeting black people, or has been targeting black people in weird ways for years, and now it’s doing the same thing to Trump,” Rubin explains 50 Cent’s perspective.
“So Trump is our guy,” he added.
