50 Cent Suggests NFL Could Dump Jay-Z as Super Bowl Halftime Show Producer amid Diddy Rape Lawsuit

Rapper and actor 50 Cent has announced that the National Football League has announced that the National Football League has decided against Jay-Z amid allegations that he raped a minor in connection with Sean “Diddy” Combs' sex trafficking. Investigation suggests they may part ways with Z and find another partner to produce the Super Bowl halftime show.

Jay-Z has been the NFL's Super Bowl halftime show partner since 2019, when the league tapped him amid a growing social justice movement.

The partnership is a quick reversal for the rapper, who had declined involvement in the league's Super Bowl show just a year ago. But since then, Jay-Z has not only taken on the role of co-producer of the annual show, but has also become an integral part of the NFL's social justice efforts.

Now, with Jay-Z's rape allegations troubling him, rapper 50 Cent is putting his rivals in a corner.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, said in a message referencing the Super Bowl halftime show posted to his Instagram account: “I don't know what's going on, but I'm still going to have a Super Bowl. *I'm worried,” he wrote. emoji* I’m just looking for a friend!”

50 Cent, of course, claimed that Jay-Z tried to get him kicked out of the NFL's annual halftime show in 2022.

Kendrick Lamar will headline the Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans early next year to close out the 2024 NFL season.

Jay-Z denies the allegations, calling the lawyer who filed the complaint, Tony Buzbee, a “deplorable human being” and an “ambulance chaser wearing a cheap suit.”

“My attorney received an attempted blackmail, called a demand letter, from a 'lawyer' named Tony Buzbee,” the Roc Nation founder said in an official statement.

“What he was calculating about was the nature of these allegations, that the public attention would make me want to settle,” Jay-Z continued.

“No, that was counterproductive!” Jay-Z insisted. “I want to expose the fraud you are committing in public,” he continued. “That’s why I won’t give you a single red penny!!”

Jay-Z went on to say that the charges are “heinous in nature” and that he doubts the sincerity of the charges because Buzbee is filing a civil suit, not a criminal one. And he disparaged Buzbee's service in the U.S. Marine Corps.

“Do you claim to be a Marine? Marines are known for their bravery, but you have no honor or dignity,” he wrote accusingly.

Jay-Z ended his rebuttal of Buzbee's claims with a lament about what the allegations are doing to his family.

“My only heartbreak is for my family,” he continued. “My wife and I have to sit our kids down, and one of them says her friend will definitely watch the press and ask questions about the nature of these allegations and explain the cruelty and greed of humans. “I’m at the age where I do it,” he said. .
