Jury selection in Hunter Biden’s gun case was confirmed Monday with 12 jurors and four alternates.
The jury is evenly split between men and women, but all four alternate jurors are women.

The prosecution and defense removed several jurors from the original pool of potential jurors. Among those removed were Judge Richardson, who had volunteered for Hillary Clinton and Guardian He watched CNN and met John “Jack” Owens, Joe Biden’s brother-in-law, when he was a bartender.
According to NBC News, the remaining justices are teeth:
- 3rd place: Women who watch the “CBS Evening News” every night
- #5: A woman who worked for the Secret Service
- #16: A woman learned about the incident on YouTube
- #19: A woman who thinks marijuana smokers should be allowed to own guns
- #20: Man pleads guilty to drunk driving
- #26: Middle-aged black man with concealed carry permits in Florida and Delaware
- #31: Man whose father owns “several” guns
- #33: A man whose father was killed in a gun crime in 2004. His younger brother was also arrested for drug possession and sent to prison.
- #34: Middle-aged non-white women who own firearms
- #37: A man who knew nothing about the incident until a week ago
- #38: A woman whose childhood best friend died of a heroin overdose
- #39: A man whose brother is addicted to heroin and PCP
Alternative proposal:

Opening statements are expected to take place Tuesday morning, the judge said.
In 2023, Special Prosecutor David Weiss charged Hunter with one count of making a false statement regarding the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by an unlawful user or addict of a controlled substance, and one count of making a false statement regarding information required to be kept by a federally licensed firearms dealer.
Hunter was found dumped in a public trash bin next to a school when he bought the gun, and various photos on his abandoned laptop suggested he was using crack cocaine at the time. The Secret Service is said to have been involved in the investigation.
