Some Republican senators Pledge It declares, in part, that it will not vote to confirm the Biden administration’s political and judicial nominees.
“The White House has made a mockery of the rule of law and fundamentally changed our politics in an un-American way. As the Senate Republican Conference, we will not aid and abet the White House’s plan to divide our country. Therefore, we will 1) not approve any budget proposals that increase this Administration’s non-security related budgets or fund partisan legal fights; 2) not vote to confirm this Administration’s political and judicial appointees; and 3) not allow the swift consideration and passage of any Democratic legislation or mandate that does not directly relate to the safety of the American people,” the senators said. Pledge I declare.
