About 70% of New Hampshire primary voters supported former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley. Not registered as a Republicanaccording to Tuesday CNN Exit poll.
The poll found that only 27% of Hailey voters were Republicans, and the remaining 3% had not registered with any party before Tuesday's primary. Seven out of 10 of Haley's voters were “unreported.”
By contrast, 70% of former President Donald Trump's New Hampshire supporters were registered Republicans, and about 27% were unreported.

“Independent and undeclared voters seem to feel like they have to do this, they have to participate in this primary, while they are waiting in line to go to the polls. So many people we talked to told us, “Here in New Hampshire, they take this job really seriously, and they see themselves in the national primary.'' We recognize that we are number one and that we are the ones who decide everything,” Pilgrim said.
