75-year-old man killed in East Village apartment fire

Authorities have said that East Village apartments killed a 75 -year -old man and injured the other two on Sunday morning.

According to FDNY, a rapid flame occurred on the second floor of a six -story apartment on the East Force Street Second Avenue at around 10:22 am.

The 75 -year -old man was found in his apartment after the fire disappeared. The cause of death is unknown. New York Post Lewis C. Ribeiro

The fire was issued within an hour. While cleaning the building, the firefighter recovered the body of an elderly dead victim in the burning apartment. The other two suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The victim's identity has not been released. The city's medical examiners have not yet determined the cause of death.
