78-Year-Old Sikh Man Arrested in Canada for Sexual Assault

Ottawa: A 78-year-old Sikh man, Harmohinder Singh, was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting several minors in Brampton, Canada, earlier this month, according to a police statement released Thursday.

Singh allegedly assaulted a girl under the age of 12 on three different occasions at a park in Brampton. He faces charges for three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual intervention involving a female under 17.

Currently, Singh is in custody, pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Judicial Court in Brampton. The authorities have expressed concern that there may be more victims and witnesses, urging anyone with information to reach out to them.
