Prosecutors say his Michigan mother killed his 9-year-old son, and official documents show that the boy said she wanted to kill him.

Documents obtained WXYZ-TV Show that the boy told CPS officials that his mother beat him with a belt and that he wanted to kill him just six months before his death.
The shocking report says CPS had investigated complaints against Pierce four different times. In the first incident in 2015, she reportedly admitted to using marijuana and alcohol in the early stages of pregnancy, but she claimed she did so before deciding to have a child.
In 2019, King was four years old, found alone in the lobby of an apartment building. He told the police, “I don't know where I belong.” Police said CPS denied the complaint.
In 2021, King was five years old, but was found “crying alone” in a vehicle trapped for more than 90 minutes while the temperature outside reached 78 degrees.
In April 2024, Pierce went to the emergency room, reporting that he was suffering from anxiety and depression. She told CPS, “I felt she was breaking down and suffering a panic attack.” Pierce said she was kicked out of the motel, completely unfunded and her car was taken back. She sleeps on the streets that she and her children said.
The child told staff that his mother was said to have beaten him with a belt, choking him and that she wanted to kill him.
Records show that CPS found “there is no predominance of evidence of physical negligence” and gave Pierce Pamphlets on finding community support.
Police say they killed the boy six months later in October.
“It is said that she bought a shovel. She tied him up by tying his hands and feet,” Wayne County Prosecutor Kim said.
Police said Piercing was arrested in Georgia, where he allegedly left another child in a car trapped with poop and contracted air mattresses.
WXYZ said the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services had not commented on the story after citing the Privacy Act.
