Miley Cyrus Revisits the Past with New Album and Music Video
It’s been a decade since Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger briefly dated, but it seems Cyrus is gently nudging the past with her new visual album, Miley Cyrus: Something Beautiful. The visual companion to her 2025 album, also titled Miley Cyrus: Something Beautiful, features Cyrus alongside directors Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, with cinematography by Benoît Debie. Many of the music videos have a straightforward concept; some are just Cyrus lip-syncing in stylish outfits against a single backdrop. Yet, there’s one video in particular that hasn’t been shown before.
The full rendition of the “Walk of Fame” music video has surfaced, and it appears Cyrus is embracing the spotlight, strutting her stuff in the process.
In this latest video, Cyrus showcases her dance moves prominently, lying on the iconic LA sidewalk. The cinematographer, Benoît Debie, manages to keep most star names under wraps, except for one star that’s quite clear—Austrian action icon and former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Schwarzenegger’s star was placed along Hollywood Blvd. in 1987, a notable spot for the actor known for his roles in films like Terminator and Predator and for serving as California’s governor. Interestingly, there’s a connection between him and Cyrus, stemming from her brief romance with his son, Patrick, back in 2015.
Patrick Schwarzenegger, who has also ventured into acting and recently appeared in season three of White Lotus, dated Cyrus during what many fans recall as her “Bangerz” phase. It was a time when she was navigating an on-and-off relationship with Liam Hemsworth. Their relationship drew attention, notably when they were spotted sharing a kiss at a football game at USC.
Not long after, Cyrus joined Patrick and his family on a ski getaway to Idaho. In a recent interview, Patrick reminisced about Cyrus, describing her as a “great house guest.” He shared, “She was just a really lovely person. Extremely talented.”
Despite the praise, Patrick mentioned that things didn’t pan out between them. He has since moved on, getting engaged and married to model Ashley Champion, with whom he has been in a relationship for eight years.
After their split in April 2015—reportedly just after Patrick was seen getting cozy with another woman—there was still some warmth between the two. They were spotted hugging and taking selfies at a New York event more than a year post-breakup.
