Hunter Biden: Democrats lost the 2024 election because they did not stay loyal to the party leader

Hunter Biden Blames Loyalty Issues for Democrats’ 2024 Loss

In an interview with former DNC chair Jamie Harrison, Hunter Biden stated that the Democrats lost the 2024 presidential election largely due to a lack of loyalty to his father, former President Joe Biden.

“We lost our final election because we were not loyal to the party leader,” he commented. “There’s the benefits of an incumbent and an incredibly successful administration, yet the Democrats literally melted.”

Hunter went on to suggest that the decision to push his father out of the reelection race could cause internal conflicts for the party during the Trump administration.

“What do you know, we’re going to fight between us for the next three years until we have a candidate, and with the candidate, we better get behind that candidate,” he added.

Democratic leaders had sought to remove Biden from the reelection campaign following a poor summer debate performance against then-candidate Donald Trump. This event, taking place on June 27, 2024, intensified concerns about Biden’s mental sharpness.

During the debate, Biden struggled to maintain consistency, often losing his train of thought and stumbling over words. This raised questions about his mental acuity after he had previously dismissed concerns about his sharpness.

Hunter Biden discussed CNN’s Jake Tapper’s recent comments, which followed the release of Tapper’s book, “Original Singh.” This work examines what it describes as “President Biden’s decline, cover-up, and the difficult decision to run again.”

Hunter challenged Tapper’s characterization of him as driving family decisions, likening himself to a “chief of staff” for the family.

“Do you think Jake Tupper is telling the truth when he said I was the president’s chief of staff? I was in that White House for 12 days in the last two years of the administration,” he asserted. “Obviously, I was because other things were going on.”

“You ask one person to go to a record where I will tell you that I had made one decision about something related to that White House,” he further explained. “I stayed as far as I could, and, by the way, it broke my heart.”

Tapper’s observations came from a podcast with journalist Katie Couric, where he labeled Hunter’s role in family decisions as “strange.”

“It’s odd because I think he’s clearly unethical, making terribly questionable decisions,” Tapper said about his interactions with Hunter Biden, particularly after his brother Beau’s passing.

“After his brother died, he tricked his brother’s widow and his wife, making her go crazy for cracking. That’s one thing I can say,” he added. “But I knew Bo.”

“Bo was great, a great guy,” Tapper concluded. “The real loss for that country is not just about his family, but what he might bring to the country.”
