Vice President JD Vance Promotes Trump’s Agenda in Pennsylvania

On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Vice President JD Vance addressed a crowd at a manufacturing facility in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, to shed light on President Donald Trump’s agenda.

This event is part of a broader initiative by the administration to share the benefits of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” with the public, emphasizing its positive impact on American citizens.

During his speech, Vance encouraged individuals to consider careers in trades and manufacturing, noting that the administration is supporting job growth in these sectors through tax incentives, particularly emphasizing no taxes on overtime and policies aimed at revitalizing domestic manufacturing.

“If you want to go to college, go to college. There’s a lot of opportunity out there. But if you want to work with your hands, build something—like a house or a bridge—your government should not force you to follow what elites in Washington dictate. You should be able to choose your own career path, and the Trump administration is going to fight for that,” Vance articulated.

He criticized the past government’s approach of favoring companies that move jobs overseas, arguing that this has unduly penalized American small businesses that invest domestically.

“If you’re building here, if you’re making here, if you’re working in the United States, we just gave you a big, fat tax break,” Vance stated.

He also reassured attendees that inflation is being managed and that wages for blue-collar workers are increasing under the current administration’s strategies.

Vance took the opportunity to call out Democrats for not holding foreign nations accountable for exploiting the United States, asserting that the “big beautiful agenda” will specifically prioritize companies that operate within American borders.
