Brianna Chickenfry's unexpected response to Zach Bryan sharing her messages

Brianna “Chicken Fry” Lapaglia is quite happy about her stance against Zack Bryan.

In a recent episode of the “BFFS” podcast, she chuckled while referring to her ex-boyfriend as “F-King Stummy” after sharing a screenshot of some past texts.

“Honestly, I stand by everything I’ve said,” she mentioned on Wednesday, initially expressing concern about a nude photo he posted. “I’m not really sure what his intention was.”

Earlier this week, Bryan shared on his Instagram Story some deleted messages from Lapaglia following their breakup, particularly after he left the country instead of getting help for personal issues.

The 26-year-old accused the country singer of sending her some “really awful stuff” before her detailed response.

“My reply shows how much I cared for him and how much he controlled me,” she reflected, saying she felt quite sad about everything.

Lapaglia discussed other texts he had shared, revealing that the NDA option offered by Bryan’s team was ultimately turned down. “It just doesn’t add up. If I were forcing you, I wouldn’t have even considered the money,” she asserted.

On Monday, she made headlines by sharing her side of the story but later called it a “silly” move.

“Honestly, all it proves is that I was in a tough spot,” she confided, noting that she felt pretty low about the whole situation.

She explained that other texts revealed Bryan’s assertions regarding the NDA options. “I really don’t want to get into it anymore,” she admitted, adding she didn’t want to fall into that trap.

Lapaglia stated she shouldn’t be threatened with the release of footage displaying Brian’s emotional mistreatment just because she previously called him “sweet” in a TikTok comment.

She felt that now she was standing up for herself. Although she’s unsure about the recent antics of songwriters on social media, she speculated it might be “a tactic to provoke a reaction.” She mentioned feeling “finally happy and doing well.”

Reflecting on Bryan’s “hostile” social media posts, she admitted to regretting her response. “It’s kind of funny now. I mean, I could still be caught up in this,” Lapaglia said. “But honestly, nothing has changed. I’m over it.”

Meanwhile, a representative for Bryan did not respond to requests for comments.

The singer parted ways with Lapaglia in early 2024 after a year together.

While taping the podcast, Lapaglia even got a FaceTime call from Bryan’s ex-wife. “If I ever talk to Rose or see her, I think I might lose it,” she laughed, expressing gratitude for the support she’s received from her.
