Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn Share Unique Financial Arrangement

Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn have been candid about their financial setup. Surprisingly, they revealed that they keep their finances completely separate, even after 18 years of marriage.

“We’re going to separate the money completely,” Romijn mentioned during an episode of Sirius XM’s “Andy Cohen Live.” Although, she quickly added that they maintain a joint “community pot” for family expenses.

Romijn, who stars in Star Trek: A Strange New World, explained that this was one of the first topics they discussed when they decided to enter into a legal agreement. The couple has twin daughters, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, who are both 16 years old. They regularly contribute to their family’s account.

“I have to say, we sometimes narrow down how much money we put into that account,” O’Connell noted. Romijn elaborated that their contributions vary based on who is earning more at the time.

“People who don’t work will get a little break, and those who do work will take a little more,” Romijn mentioned. “And we’re a tag team that really does work for us.”

Following the birth of their daughters, they agreed that one of them would always be home with the children. “So no one else is going to raise them other than us,” she emphasized.

During the chat, Cohen made a light comment about O’Connell’s finances following his departure from CBS’s “The Talk,” which he had joined as a permanent host in 2021. The show concluded in December 2024 after 15 seasons.
