Dave Portnoy Secures Barstool Sports’ Initial TV Agreement

Barstool Sports Partners with Fox Sports

Media figure Dave Portnoy has confirmed that Barstool Sports is entering a partnership with Fox Sports.

Portnoy made this announcement in a video shared on X on Thursday. He expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Barstool Sports is proud to announce our new and extensive partnership with Fox Sports. This is the first time in our glorious, infamous history of having a TV partner we believe in. I can’t wait to see what we create together.”

As part of the collaboration, Portnoy will participate in Fox Sports’ flagship program “Big Noon Kickoff,” alongside a weekly show titled “Barstool College Football Show.” He will be featured with college football personalities like Urban Meyer, Matt Reinert, Brady Quinn, Mark Ingram, Chris Falka, and host Rob Stone.

“We look forward to welcoming Dave Portnoy and Barstool Sports to the Fox Sports family. Dave has built a unique brand that resonates with a new generation of sports fans—authentic, bold, and original,” a Fox Sports representative remarked.

This partnership is anticipated to make waves in the college football media realm. Portnoy and “Big Noon Kickoff” will go head-to-head with ESPN’s “College Gameday,” hosted by Pat McAfee. Fox Sports seems to have found a vibrant social icon to provide engaging commentary.

With Portnoy and Barstool Sports on board, Fox Sports is set to inject new energy into its coverage, particularly for the upcoming college football season.
