New documents point to Obama’s direct involvement in the Russia hoax.

New documents point to Obama's direct involvement in the Russia hoax.

Shortly after Donald Trump’s unexpected victory in the 2016 election, various media and government entities began efforts to undermine that outcome. The public campaign kicked off when BuzzFeed published unverified documents compiled by former British intelligence agents, which were reportedly commissioned by the Hillary Clinton campaign. To summarize, the Clinton Campaign financed operations through the Democratic National Committee, engaged law firms, and contracted Fusion GPS, a firm specializing in opposition research.

In a statement, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard described these documents as foundational to what she termed “a disturbing plot” involving senior officials from the Obama administration aimed at overshadowing the will of the American electorate. Gabbard contended that these moves were an attempt to prevent President Trump from executing his duties. She expressed these thoughts on social media, implying that Americans would eventually uncover the truth surrounding 2016, which she claimed was an act against democracy.

The documents in question outlined President Obama’s assessment in December 2016, indicating that U.S. intelligence agencies found no evidence that Russian cyberattacks influenced the election results. Gabbard further mentioned that a crucial intelligence report was withheld before reaching the President due to new directives. This report highlighted orders given by FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and National Intelligence Director James Clapper, which led to the creation of a new intelligence assessment claiming Russian interference, despite conflicting with previous information.

The day after a reported meeting regarding this issue, leaks appeared in major news outlets, demonstrating how Clapper and Brennan allegedly used Steele’s documents to propagate inaccurate narratives. Gabbard emphasized that this situation affected all Americans, insisting that a thorough investigation into all involved parties was necessary to restore the integrity of the democratic process.

Public opinion has shifted quickly in response to these revelations. Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, labeled the entire situation a “hoax” and urged the Department of Justice to take action. Meanwhile, General Mike Flynn, who served as national security adviser during Trump’s first term, remarked that Gabbard’s comments suggested a coup attempt orchestrated by the Obama administration against Trump.

Many documents were released recently, contributing to an ongoing story that continues to evolve.
