Katy Perry Comes Close to Falling from a Huge Hanging Butterfly During Her Performance

Katy Perry’s Close Call at Concert

Pop star Katy Perry had a tense moment during a concert in San Francisco on Friday when a flying prop malfunctioned. While performing her 2013 hit “Roar,” Perry was seen gripping onto a giant mechanical butterfly, which was quite the sight.

The crowd responded with a mix of excitement and concern, as cheers turned into gasps of shock. For a brief moment, it seemed like Perry was in a bit of a panic, but she quickly regained her composure and continued her performance.

After the mechanical butterfly stopped rocking back and forth due to a sudden drop, she confidently sang, “And you’ll hear me roar.” It was a moment that certainly had everyone holding their breath.

Post-concert, the “Last Friday Night” singer shared an Instagram story, casually posting a photo that hinted at her experience, captioned with a simple “Goodnight San Fran.”

This was not her first brush with such drama on stage this summer. Just last month, while performing in Adelaide, Australia, she found herself stuck in a giant ball hanging from above, clinging on as staff rushed to assist her while fans watched in disbelief.

Perry’s previous scare came just a day after a similar situation with Beyoncé at a concert in Houston, where technical issues caused her to tilt dangerously while perched on a suspended car, leaving fans understandably alarmed.
