Tattoo artist from NYC abducts and assaults teenage mistress with the help of his wife and nanny, according to prosecutors

Charges Filed Against Bronx Tattoo Parlor Owner and Associates

A Bronx tattoo shop owner allegedly invited his teenage mistress to his Westchester home, leading to a disturbing series of events.

Wayne and Jasmine Burns, along with their babysitter Lisbeth Cerrato Sanchez, were charged on July 9 for their involvement in the assault of a 19-year-old employee from the tattoo studio, according to the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.

“The degree of depravity on display in this case is quite shocking,” District Attorney Susan Kakaath remarked in a statement.

According to prosecutors, the incident escalated when the 44-year-old tattoo shop owner was seen discussing his car with the teenager on their way to his home in Queens.

Witnesses say he physically pushed her against the Grand Central Parkway before the situation turned violent.

Wayne Burns then allegedly struck her with a metal baton upon returning to the vehicle.

Afterward, he picked up his 42-year-old wife from the Bronx and took the victim back to their home in Heartsdale, where the assault continued.

The couple reportedly took the victim’s phone to prevent her from seeking help. Jasmine Burns is accused of participating in the attack while the couple’s children were at home, allegedly pulling the victim’s hair and hitting her with the baton.

Cerato Sanchez, the 19-year-old nanny, also allegedly slapped the victim while Jasmine continued her assault. Eventually, the victim was given her phone back and permitted to change clothes before calling an Uber to escape, according to prosecutors.

After returning to the hospital for treatment the following day, she reported the assault to Greenburg police. Just four days later, the trio was arrested.

Wayne and Jasmine Burns face several charges, including assault and criminal possession of a weapon, and both have pleaded not guilty. Their lawyer, Stephen Liveling, expressed disbelief about the allegations, stating, “We look forward to addressing these wild accusations.”

Cerrato Sanchez has also been charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, and while no attorney is listed for her, she has pleaded not guilty as well.
