New Insights on Allegations Against Obama Administration
The Director of National Intelligence made a significant disclosure on Friday regarding the resignation of Tulsi Gabbard, shedding light on what some refer to as the “hoax” of Russian collusion, previously reported by Mark Levin and Breitbart News.
A document released by the ODNI’s office claims to present “overwhelming evidence” indicating that President Obama and members of his national security team potentially manipulated and politicized intelligence for a long-term coup.
New allegations indicate that Obama’s officials contested existing intelligence assessments which suggested that Russia did not significantly interfere in the 2016 election. They have apparently drafted a new assessment claiming that, in fact, Russia did interfere.
This revelation seems to reinforce a theory proposed by Mark Levin back in March 2017, suggesting that President Obama actively tried to undermine his successor based on information available to the public.
Breitbart News outlined Levin’s comments, stating:
Essentially, the Obama administration sought and obtained permission to monitor the Trump campaign. They continued surveillance even without any evidence of wrongdoing being found. Furthermore, they loosened NSA restrictions, allowing sensitive information, including personal conversations, to be disseminated throughout the government, which almost assured that such information would leak to the press.
Levin referred to these actions as a “silent coup” and called for a thorough investigation.
Moreover, Levin criticized Republicans in Congress for focusing on Trump and Attorney General Sessions instead of scrutinizing Obama.
The day after President Trump referenced these allegations, claiming that Obama “wiretapped” him, mainstream media outlets described Trump’s statements as unwarranted conspiracy theories.
Meanwhile, reports in March 2017, including those from Devin Nunes (R-CA), revealed that officials had “unmasked” American identities in intelligence operations. Later, in September 2017, CNN admitted that Trump’s campaign had indeed been monitored, contradicting earlier denials. The “SpyGate” controversy further demonstrated that the FBI deployed informants to infiltrate Trump’s campaign, aligning with views expressed by Levin and Breitbart in 2018.
Gabbard’s recent comments seem to provide more context for the investigation, suggesting that plans to target Trump might have started much earlier than previously thought. This raises the question of how much President Obama was aware of the actions undertaken by his senior aides in relation to the election.
