Trump Critiques Lawmaker on Social Media

On Monday evening, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to label certain lawmakers as the “worst Republican Congressman.” He expressed a desire for challengers to support his current allies.

In a pointed post, Trump criticized Representative Thomas Massey, calling him “lazy” and “embarrassing” for Kentucky. He went on to describe Massey as “completely dishonest” and a “real loser.” The post indicated Trump’s strong disapproval of Massey’s performance.

This statement follows a video from a group called Maga Ky, which is working to remove certain lawmakers from office. The narrator in the video boldly asserts, “Let’s fire Thomas Massey.”

Fox News Digital reached out to Massey for a comment early on Tuesday, though he had not responded by publication time. Notably, Massey, known for his fiscal conservatism, voted against major legislation that Trump supported.

In another post, Trump hinted that Massey’s time in office might be coming to an end, as the “big and beautiful buildings” approach jumps through its final challenges.

Trump has often critiqued lawmakers, and just last month he pointed out that Massey “is not a Maga,” predicting that strong Republican candidates would come forward against him in the upcoming primary elections.

Billionaire Elon Musk has also indicated he might donate to help Massey’s re-election efforts, potentially complicating the political landscape for Trump’s preferred challengers.
