Trump Issues Restraint on GOP Senators

In a recent post on Truth Social, former President Donald Trump expressed his discontent with incumbent Republican senators. He had previously criticized South Dakota GOP Senators and pledged not to support Congressman Mike Rounds again.

Back in 2020, Trump had commented on the election’s fairness during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week.” However, he later labeled the 2020 presidential election as fraudulent. “The Minecround of the great ‘senator’ South Dakota state has just woken up in the 2020 fraudulent presidential election,” he stated at the beginning of a lengthy tirade.

Trump made it clear that he would never endorse Rounds again, declaring, “His election will not appear in five years… I will never support this jerk again.” He has been vocal about his belief that “the radical, leaving Democrats and Linos” aren’t helping the country, calling Rounds a “weak and ineffective leader.” It’s interesting, though, given that he is now backing Rounds for re-election.

In another post on Truth Social, Trump called Rounds “America’s first patriot,” indicating his support for Rounds’ re-election campaign. He assured followers that Rounds would not disappoint them.

In the midst of all this, Rounds thanked Trump for the endorsement, expressing enthusiasm for working together to improve America even further.

Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for a comment on this situation but did not receive a response by the time of publication.
