The tour released a statement indicating that the trucks involved employed “industry standard wheel restraints.” They acknowledged the unpredictable nature of motorsport, noting that while certain safety measures are in place, it’s impossible to completely eliminate risks. “Accidents can happen, and we emphasize the importance of safety in this exciting sport we all cherish,” the statement said.

The organization has taken steps to coordinate with local authorities to ensure that future events are safer. They also shared a video on social media that provided a different angle of the incident, aiming to be as transparent as possible regarding what happened.

In a recent statistic, there was mention of a tragic event from years ago, where a six-year-old was fatally injured at a Tacoma Dome show due to debris. Such incidents linger in the minds of attendees, highlighting the ongoing importance of enhanced safety measures at these thrilling events.
