Stephen Colbert Keeps Going with Trump 'Micropenis' Jokes After His Show's Cancellation

Colbert’s Humor Takes Aim at Trump Amid Show Cancellation

Comedian Stephen Colbert has relied heavily on humor—particularly risqué jokes—as he tackles the subject of President Donald Trump, especially in light of recent controversies.

Colbert recently addressed claims that Trump’s name appears in the Epstein Files, referring to a statement from Elon Musk. “There are a lot of smoking guns involved in this case, but we’re still dealing with that as we tape this show,” he said. Notably, Attorney General Pambondy informed Trump that his name was included in these files.

“They say there’s no such thing as bad publicity, right? Well, they’re not talking about this,” Colbert remarked, suggesting the president wasn’t the only name mentioned. The documents reportedly contained hundreds of other names, with Trump’s being notably highlighted in comedic fashion.

In recent news from Breitbart, it was announced that CBS will cancel Colbert’s show, citing financial reasons. The network stated, “Stephen Colbert will retire from the Late Show franchise in May 2026, considering it irreplaceable. This decision is purely financial amid the challenging late-night landscape and is not reflective of the show’s content or performance.”

This announcement follows Colbert’s criticism of a $16 million settlement with Trump’s parent company, which he labeled a “big fat bribe” related to a merger. Some observers speculated that the cancellation was politically motivated, especially given the show’s financial losses and its significant crew size. Notably, Trump celebrated the news, expressing his feelings toward Colbert’s departure.

“I absolutely love Colbert being let go. His talent was overvalued. Jimmy Kimmel? Even less talent!” Trump commented.

Colbert, during a recent broadcast, shot back at Trump, telling him to “forget himself.” In a more confrontational tone, he expressed skepticism over claims that Kimmel could be next, pulling a bit of humor from it as he sought to reassure his audience.
