Justice Department Reveals Team to Examine Tulsi Gabbard’s Russiagate Revelations

DOJ Forms Strike Force to Investigate “Russigate”

The U.S. Department of Justice has established a task force to delve into evidence surrounding “Russigate.” This news was shared by National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard on Friday, following a press release issued earlier in the week.

In the release, Gabbard emphasized, “The Department of Justice is eager to collaborate with Superintendent Gabbard. We appreciate this alliance in holding parties accountable to the American public. We are committed to thoroughly investigating these serious allegations.”

Gabbard disclosed a document indicating that former President Barack Obama and his intelligence chief allegedly participated in a “long-standing coup” against President Donald Trump. She made these claims in a series of tweets on Friday.

Among the significant points revealed through Gabbard’s disclosure is the information provided by James Clapper, the then-DNI, suggesting that foreign adversaries had targeted election infrastructure with cyberattacks that ultimately did not influence the results of the U.S. presidential election.

The report also highlighted exceptions related to the President’s Daily Briefing that the Obama administration provided to certain presidential candidates. It stated, “Cyber activities by Russia and other perpetrators did not affect the outcome of the U.S. elections.”

Interestingly, an assessment prepared by intelligence officials on December 8, 2016, noted that while Russia had indeed conducted cyberattacks on election infrastructure, these actions had “no impact on the outcomes of the recent U.S. elections.”
