Prince Harry 'concerned' about potential exile when Prince William ascends to the throne, says biographer

Prince Harry has expressed concerns that if his brother, Prince William, ascends to the throne, he might find himself excluded from his home country.

The 40-year-old Duke of Sussex seems to be contemplating what lies ahead, particularly wanting to mend the relationship with his father, who is battling cancer.

Recently, aides to Harry were spotted in a discreet meeting with the communications chief of the monarch in London.

Interestingly, the communications teams for the Prince and Princess of Wales were absent from this meeting, hinting at a broader context of their ongoing tensions.

Royal author Tom Bower suggests that any reconciliation might still be quite distant.

“The possibility of their meeting again during King Charles’ lifetime hinges largely on Harry’s actions. It’s hard to presume, as I’m sure Charles wishes to see his son, but Harry’s behavior will play a big part,” Bower commented.

“Harry is genuinely anxious that if anything happens to his father, William could completely distance him from the royal family. He worries he would become a Persona non-Grata,” he added.

Bower, known for his book “Revenge: The War between Meghan, Harry and Windsor,” characterizes Harry as somewhat of his own adversary.

On another note, experts highlighted Harry’s eagerness to mend fences with Charles, although a resolution may not be attainable given their deep-seated issues.

“Harry needs to meet with Charles—not only to show he belongs but also to regain some credibility in the UK,” Bower asserted.

However, Bower also noted that Harry might struggle to take that initial step without the palace’s facilitation.

He speculated that once a meeting with Charles happens, Harry may leverage it to rebuild his standing.

Looking ahead, a potential reconnection could occur in September when Harry is scheduled to return to the UK for the annual WellChild Awards.

Although this meeting remains unconfirmed, it could become complicated, particularly with King Charles expected to host President Donald Trump at Windsor Castle around the same time.
