Zach Brown is now engaged to jewelry designer Kendra Scott, following a rather controversial split from his ex-wife, Kelly Yazdi.
In an interview with a magazine, the 46-year-old country star and Scott, who is 51, expressed their happiness at finding each other: “We are so happy and grateful,” they said.
A picture featured in the article shows Scott proudly displaying her pink diamond engagement ring while they share a romantic moment on a pier, bathed in sunset light.
In another snapshot, Scott posed in a lounge chair, resting her head on Brown’s shoulder while revealing the ring.
Brown appeared on “Today” recently, with Scott cheering him on from the audience.
Before his performance, he mentioned feeling “blessed” after announcing his engagement.
“It feels good,” he said, adding that there’s a lot to consider regarding the “pressure” of choosing the right engagement ring for someone who creates jewelry.
“I know, right? What do you get someone to design jewelry?” Brown mused. “But it’s incredible. I’m so happy, and we’re so happy together.”
He remarked that this new chapter brings a lot of energy to other areas of his life, including music and family. “That’s why we are blessed,” he said.
This past May, the couple made their first public appearance together at the American Music Awards. At the event, Brown’s band, the Zach Brown Band, received a nomination for favorite country duo or group.
Additionally, Brown received his first Veteran Audio Award there, recognizing his support for the veteran community.
Back in May, sources indicated that Brown and Scott had been dating for “a few months,” stating, “They were brought together by mutual friends and are very much in love.” They reportedly became inseparable quite quickly.
Scott also joined Brown at the wedding of fellow country star Jamie Johnson and Britney Eakins in May.
Both have histories of marriage; Scott was previously married to John Scott from 2000 to 2006, and they share two children. She later married Matt Davis in 2014, but they separated in 2020 before ultimately parting ways.
Brown divorced his first wife, Shelley, in 2018 after 12 years, and they have five children together: Justice, 18; Lucy, 17; Georgia, 16; Joni, 14; and Alexander, 11.
He wed actress Kelly Yazdi in August 2023 but announced their split just four months later. The divorce became contentious and was finalized in January 2024, but they remain embroiled in legal disputes.
In May, Brown filed a lawsuit against Yazdi, accusing her of breaching non-disclosure agreements related to her employees and sharing unflattering posts about him on social media.
Yazdi countered, claiming Brown was trying to silence her through his lawsuit.
In July, she launched a suit against him regarding a music video for his song “Beautiful Drug,” alleging that he included a model resembling her in order to tarnish her image.
They are scheduled to appear in court for a trial set for September 15 in Atlanta.
