Marcus Jordan Reflects on Losses in Social Media Post
Marcus Jordan, the son of basketball legend Michael Jordan, recently took to social media to express his feelings following the deaths of Hulk Hogan and Ozzy Osbourne. In a post on his Instagram Story, he shared how the passing of these childhood icons prompted him to connect with his father.
Both Hogan and Osbourne died within a short span, with Hogan reportedly facing potential cardiac arrest and Osbourne battling Parkinson’s disease.
“I went through it yesterday and realized that two icons from my childhood passed this week,” Marcus noted. “Life is short, and it is important to spend time with the people you love, so I reached out to both my parents and my siblings.”
He mentioned a sense of urgency, saying, “We caught a serious case of ‘FCK It’s’ and almost had a drink. I realized how ‘fun’ was stripped of social media. It used to be okay to express opinions online.”
Jordan has faced some challenges recently, including legal issues such as drug possession and DUI allegations earlier in the year. He was also engaged to LaLa Pippen, Scotty Pippen’s ex-wife, from 2023 to 2024.
He concluded by reflecting on his own situation, expressing gratitude for friends and family but also sorrow for those who might not have such support. “I’ve been thinking about why I’ve been feeling this way lately; it shouldn’t always be like this,” he shared.
