Inside the McBee Dynasty: An Emotional Journey
There’s been a lot of drama surrounding McBee Farm & Cattle Co lately. Following a painful split from Steve McBee, star of McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, Galyna Saltkovska found herself heartbroken yet again when he began seeing her former friend, Masha. The fallout has been tough, with Saltkovska expressing feelings of deep betrayal. “It was incredibly hard to handle,” she reflected, pondering the reckless decisions that followed, including leaving doors open at Steve’s property. “I still question some of my choices during that time,” she admitted.
Today, Saltkovska feels she’s in a much better spot. “I’ve managed to rise above many obstacles,” she proudly stated, crediting her progress to a difficult situation involving the village. Help from Stephen Jr., Cole, and Jesse McBee played a significant role in her healing. “Talking was therapeutic. It really helped me process everything,” she remembered, noting how comforting it was to express herself openly.
McBee Farm & Cattle Co appears to be flourishing, which Saltkovska finds quite “satisfactory.” “We’ve sorted out our priorities and are really focused now,” she explained. She expressed gratitude toward her partner Stephen, emphasizing his unwavering support. “He has my back, no doubt,” Saltkovska said. “We needed to communicate openly to get back on the same page.”
Recently, Saltkovska connected with Decider to chat about the season, her decision to discuss an FBI investigation on camera, and her friendship with fellow Bravolebrity Alexis Berino.
Decider: I saw you both celebrating at Alexis Berino’s event ahead of Season 2! How did you meet?
Galyna Saltkovska: I really like Alexis. Our connection was instant, thanks to my spokesperson. We had a phenomenal day in Newport Beach. I enjoy spending time with her. She’s a remarkable person and has been supportive throughout my TV journey, which is a completely different ballgame for me.
Season 2 aired during one of the most challenging times in your life. How are you feeling today?
Honestly, filming that season was intense. I often look back and question my choices. I did my best at the time, but overall, I’ve come a long way. I’ve faced many hardships but feel like I’m getting back on track.
The business seems to be doing really well, especially lately. How do you feel about contributing to this success?
I’m quite pleased. I know I’ve caused some issues along the way, but I’ve managed to refocus my priorities. I really take pride in what we’re achieving today.
It must have been tough to lose both a boyfriend and close friend at once. Did you feel supported during this time?
Experiencing that betrayal was hard, without a doubt. I know I made some bad calls, but the situation put the guys in a confusing spot. They depend on me in the business, so I think they needed time to sort things out. I’m grateful they’ve stuck by me and are supportive now.
Stephen Jr. has always been in your corner, right?
Absolutely. We had some difficult conversations, but he’s always had my back. We both had to be open to get back on the same page. I’m incredibly thankful for him.
Being on reality TV means exposing your most vulnerable moments. How did you handle that tough time, especially when a boy found a wine bottle in your trash?
That period was deeply traumatic. I was juggling the business while processing this betrayal. I won’t lie; wine became an escape for me, but it wasn’t what it looked like. I don’t usually drink like that in the office.
Stephen was aware of the wine incident, right?
Yes, for a while he empathized with me, thinking I needed some grace. He recognized how hectic things were, and it was wild, but there was also a lot of good growth and reflection. I feel grateful to work alongside him.
You expressed frustration with Jesse trying to resolve things with Masha. What was going through your mind then?
My head felt like it was about to explode. I couldn’t believe they were serious about her. But once I started speaking, it all just flowed out. In a way, it was a relief to express everything. Yet, it was shocking how Masha had no remorse. She acted as if she were a friend to me, but her intentions were far from genuine.
Reflecting back, do you regret bringing up the FBI investigation?
I stand by that choice. It was about getting our priorities straight—discussing superficial matters or addressing something significant.
How did you feel when Stephen Jr. met his father, who nearly crashed your car last season?
Honestly, it didn’t bother me. Brooke, Stephen’s father, is way more genuine than Masha. She didn’t know me and wasn’t pretending to be friends. She chose to end things when she found out the truth. I’m genuinely happy for her and wish her all the best.
Finally, what can you share about upcoming episodes?
I’m looking forward to revealing more in the next episodes. There’s so much more to share about my relationships and interactions. Viewers will want to stay tuned!
