Investigation Underway After Quadruple Murders in Tennessee
In Tennessee, a tragic situation is unfolding as law enforcement identifies a suspect in the murders of four individuals. This follows the discovery of a baby abandoned on a front lawn.
The Dyer County Police Department announced on Thursday that 29-year-old Austin Robert Drummond is the alleged killer of James M. Wilson, 21, 20-year-old Courtney Rose, 38, and Braydon Williams.
Authorities linked these four murders to the abandonment of a toddler found in a car seat on the lawn of a random residence. A nearby witness noticed the car seat and promptly called 911.
The baby is reportedly connected to all the victims, as reported by a local news outlet.
Drummond is facing serious charges, including first-degree murder, four counts of felony firearm possession, and one count of weapon possession related to a dangerous felony. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is also involved in the ongoing inquiry.
Officials are warning that Drummond should be considered “armed and dangerous,” and they suspect he may have altered his appearance. He is believed to be driving a 2016 Audi A3 with Tennessee license plate RI 01896.
“This is a very sad day for our community. We are committed to revealing the truth and ensuring justice,” stated Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box.
Drummond has a criminal history, having previously spent 13 years in prison for robbery and other charges. He was released on September 1, 2024.
Anyone with information about Drummond’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Dyer County Police Department at 731-285-2802.
