Convicted criminal sought in brutal murder of Tennessee family after 7-month-old is discovered alone in a stranger's yard

A manhunt is currently underway for Austin Robert Drummond, a convicted felon accused of murdering a family member in Tennessee. He allegedly abandoned a seven-month-old girl in the car seat of her vehicle in the yard of a stranger, about 40 miles from the scene.

Authorities released Drummond’s photo on Thursday, cautioning that he is possibly “armed and dangerous.”

At 28 years old, Drummond has been added to the most wanted list, facing multiple charges related to a four-count first-degree murder case that has taken an odd turn.

The search for Drummond started after the baby was found left in a “random” man’s front yard in Tygret on Tuesday afternoon.

A 911 call indicated that a minivan or medium-sized SUV dropped off the infant there.

When investigators began looking for her family, they discovered the bodies of four relatives in Tiptonville hours later.

The deceased include the child’s parents, 21-year-old Matthew Wilson and 20-year-old Adriana Williams, as well as her grandma, 38-year-old Courtney Rose, and uncle, Braydon Williams.

Interestingly, Drummond is reportedly dating Rose’s half-sister.

Authorities have yet to reveal the motive for the killings.

Drummond is described as having a lengthy criminal history and was released from prison late last year after serving time for robbery and other offenses.

District Attorney Danny Goodman mentioned that they believe Drummond may be cornered.

Investigators noted that Drummond stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 190 pounds.

He is likely driving a 2016 Audi A3 with Tennessee license plate RI 01896, which is reportedly damaged on the driver’s side.
