Comer has also requested records from the DOJ concerning the Epstein case. A motion introduced by Representative Scott Perry from Pennsylvania, which received bipartisan support, pushed for the summoning of Clinton and other officials from various past administrations.
This list includes former FBI directors James Comey and Robert S. Mueller III, along with former Attorneys General Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, William Barr, Jeff Sessions, and Alberto Gonzales. Each subpoena outlines the individual’s connection to the investigation into Epstein.
Comer highlighted the importance of Congress in overseeing sex trafficking laws and investigations. He mentioned that findings from the investigation could help in formulating legislative measures aimed at enhancing the federal government’s approach to sex trafficking and improving the processes surrounding investigations of sexual crimes.
The subcommittee has also approved various amended claims, including one from Rep. Summer Lee, which directs the chairman to collect records from the DOJ related to the Epstein case.
Rep. Andy Biggs from Arizona has called for the release of all communications between the Biden administration and the DOJ regarding Epstein, expressing concerns about transparency.
I’m feeling uneasy right now about the situation. Hillary and Bill Clinton have been subpoenaed to testify regarding the Epstein files.
Thanks to @gopoversight for helping to highlight these serious crimes against children.
Thank you @jamescomer for your efforts…

Additionally, an amendment from Rep. Nancy Mace has been approved, which secures audio votes aimed at protecting the identities of victims while also compiling potential child sex abuse materials.
The committee has set a deadline of August 19 for the DOJ to provide records associated with the Epstein investigation.
