Dan found in Warwick after Giants meetup joke — and he didn't seem pleased.

Ten years later, Dan from Warwick doesn’t seem too keen on the prospect of New York Giants and San Francisco Giants meetups.

This well-known WFAN caller, who famously pranked former host Mike Francesa in 2014, casually wondered if the two teams might celebrate their shared name. However, he appeared disinterested during his interactions on Monday.

His comments followed a viral video featuring former football players Eli Manning and Sean O’Hara, along with current baseball players Logan Webb and Matt Chapman, which ignited some ideas about potential collaborations.

During a midday show chat with Sal Licata, Dan gave off a vibe of uncertainty and mentioned that he hadn’t spent much time in Vermont. He even mistook Licata for his colleague Evan Roberts, referring to him as “the loud hot taker.”

Dan acknowledged that his original phone call was a prank from years ago, expressing confusion about why it had resurfaced since, as he put it, “I’m not that much on social media.”

“You know why we’re calling you today, right?” Licata inquired.

“No,” Dan replied, seemingly oblivious.

Licata explained the video, yet Dan mentioned it as a “pretty famous” call, oddly recalling an old cartoon he used to watch.

“I have no idea where this is going, but this is what you get when you talk to Dan from Warwick,” Licata chuckled.

The conversation shifted to how often Dan calls the station, with him claiming he wanted to connect through his cousin.

This unusual chat wrapped up quickly.

“I really don’t care about talking to Dan from Warwick,” Licata remarked, reflecting Dan’s apparent indifference.

The show later aired clips of both the franchise and Dan, then moved on to other topics.

“… it seems like Dan isn’t into social media fame or the attention,” Licata noted. “It’s admirable that he pulled his pranks years ago, and it served its purpose.”

Licata laughed, highlighting the absurdity of the situation.

“It feels like we’re making him uncomfortable. Sorry, Dan, didn’t mean to trouble you, but thanks for your time,” he said.

Later, Dan called in again while Sean Morash and Tomil Gauer were discussing different topics.

Morash pointed out that Dan seemed “indifferent” earlier, not quite as engaging as one might expect from someone known for his iconic pranks.

Dan shared he only found out about the situation when he was at the Vermont exit for work, resulting in a rushed conversation with Licata.

Then, things got a bit strange again.

Morash asked if the video and renewed attention made him feel like he’d pulled off the best prank of his life. “Not really, why?” Dan replied.

He noted that he wasn’t even in the video and jokingly asked if the hosts could send him some money for the prank.

Morash and Gauer found his reaction unbelievable, with Gauer trying to explain why he should actually feel excited about this whole scenario.

“Am I great? You think I’m great because of that prank call? I was just messing around with Mike Francesa,” Dan retorted, describing himself as a prankster.

The hosts wondered if he had previously pranked them, but he insisted that wasn’t the case before yet another call came in.

Gauer remarked on how Dan had called the station twice, not vice versa.

Morash laughed, saying, “I can’t believe he’s 0-2 on the phone.”
