ICE Arrests Six Criminal Illegal Aliens in Houston
A group of six illegal aliens was apprehended by ICE in Houston after they had each entered the country unlawfully a staggering 42 times. This notable arrest took place on the last day of July, as stated in a release from ICE.
The six individuals collectively accumulated an astonishing 48 criminal convictions, along with two decades of illegal reentries. Their criminal records include offenses such as cocaine trafficking, grand larceny, assault, domestic violence, and multiple incidents of driving while intoxicated. Notably, one member of this group is linked to a gang associated with drug cartels.
For instance, Oscar Moran Valle, a 43-year-old Mexican national and a documented member of the Paisas Gang, has illegally crossed into the U.S. 12 times. His criminal record includes three illegal entry convictions, two DUI offenses, drug possession, theft, and using a false identity with law enforcement. He was arrested by ICE on July 29th.
Another individual, Alex Salomon Reyes-Chavez, 46, from Honduras, had illegally entered the U.S. five times. His convictions include robbery, possession of heroin, grand larceny, and human trafficking involving cocaine, leading to his arrest on July 30th.
The third individual, Angel Bonila Barahona, also from Honduras, is 38 years old and has been arrested for unlawful entry into the U.S. seven times, with seven criminal convictions to his name.
Marvin Javier Marquez Celaya, 38, another Honduran national, has illegally crossed into the U.S. five times as well. His offenses include robbery, cocaine possession, and several other crimes, including domestic violence. He, too, was arrested on July 30th.
Thanh Van Ng Nguyen, a 53-year-old from Vietnam, was found to have illegally entered the U.S. several times, accumulating charges like robbery, theft, and assault.
Finally, Jose Angel Munoz Saucedo, a 40-year-old from Mexico, faced multiple charges including driving while intoxicated and fleeing law enforcement after entering the U.S. illegally 12 times.
ICE noted that these arrests were part of a targeted initiative focused on apprehending the “worst of the worst” illegal aliens, a strategy that began during the Trump administration. Gabriel Martinez, director of ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations in Houston, commended the efforts of immigration enforcement, stating their priority is to ensure that such criminals no longer harm innocent Americans.
In the grand scheme of things—over the last 20 years—these six violent offenders have repeatedly broken both immigration laws and criminal codes, leaving a significant impact on the community, according to Martinez. Thanks to a renewed focus on border security and immigration enforcement, they have finally been expelled from the area.
