Vance Indicates Potential Charges from Obama’s Administration

In a recent interview, Vice President JD Vance mentioned that “many people” could soon face charges related to what he described as a conspiracy from the Obama administration concerning Russian involvement.

While he did not specify names, Vance referenced new information from the Intelligence Director’s reports, alleging an “active violation of the law” surrounding the Russiagate issue.

“I definitely want to see the indictment,” Vance stated in an interview with Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures. “It’s important to follow the law based on the facts.” He added, “You can’t just charge someone; it has to be clear they broke the law.” After reviewing what Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel have disclosed recently, Vance expressed disbelief that anyone could view the situation as anything but a significant legal breach.

“I firmly believe they did break the law, and many will be charged as a result,” he noted later.

Last month, Gabbard began releasing documents related to the Obama administration’s investigation into the alleged Russian interference during the 2016 election. Among these were findings from a 2020 House Intelligence Committee report, which was prepared by Republicans and indicated scant evidence supporting claims of Russia’s support for Trump in 2016.

Gabbard also brought to light information suggesting that top intelligence officials had not found evidence that Russia manipulated the voting systems to alter the election outcome.

Vance commented, “What they did was misappropriate the theme of Hillary Clinton’s campaign and mislead the American public.” He went on to criticize the intelligence community’s handling of information that could contradict the Clinton narrative, stating they had buried it deeply.

In light of Gabbard’s revelations, the Justice Department established a “Strike Force” to investigate potential criminal violations. Recently, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondy sought a major ruling that could allow for investigations into the actions of Obama administration officials.

Vance argued that the intelligence agency was essentially discussing themes favorable to Clinton’s campaign, although he did not name specific individuals involved. However, former CIA directors John Brennan and James Clapper pushed back against this narrative, referencing the 2020 bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report, which stated that analysts were not politically driven to achieve any particular conclusion.

Clapper and Brennan further contended that the core 2017 Intelligence Community Report did not provide evidence for a “conspiracy” involving Trump, disputing claims that the Kremlin preferred him in the election.

A spokesman for former President Obama responded with a rare statement, calling Gabbard’s allegations “absurd” and a feeble attempt to distract. Patrick Rodenbush said, “The document issued last week contradicts the widely accepted view that Russia sought to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not manipulate the votes.”
