Texas Woman's Lawsuit Alleges Man Contaminated Her Tea with Abortion Medication

Texas Woman Claims Partner Spiked Drink with Abortion Pills

A woman from Texas has alleged that her partner secretly added abortion pills to her drink, resulting in the termination of her pregnancy. Liana Davis, the plaintiff from Corpus Christi, asserts that she conceived while seeing her neighbor, Christopher Cooprider, who is training as a Marine Corps pilot.

According to Davis, she refused to have an abortion and expressed her excitement for the baby, declaring, “I can’t wait to hold that gorgeous baby,” and stating, “the baby is not wrong.” The legal complaint claims that Cooprider, realizing she wouldn’t take the pills he had ordered, slipped them into her drink. Following that night, she began experiencing bleeding.

The lawsuit states, “Christopher Cooprider murdered Liana Davis’ unborn baby by secretly dissolving abortion pills in a hot drink he prepared.” It further alleges that Cooprider acquired the medication from Aid Access, described as a criminal organization that illegally ships abortion medications to Texas.

Davis is pursuing damages, arguing that Cooprider’s actions breached several Texas laws, including those pertaining to abortion medications and wrongful death. Prior to Davis taking a pregnancy test, Cooprider had reportedly pressured her to terminate the pregnancy.

He communicated, “If the test is positive, I want to remove it.” To which she replied, “So you’re one of those conservatives until it happens to my mistress.”

She mentioned that Cooprider had ordered the abortion pills, something she had no intention of doing herself. In a later text, she said, “This little guy did nothing to hurt you. They’re not dangerous.” Cooprider reportedly responded, mentioning that if things progressed, it would fail on multiple levels.

After testing positive, and after multiple discussions, Cooprider suggested a “night of trust-building.” Davis thought this could help repair their relationship, especially hoping it would ensure some connection between her unborn child and its father.

The lawsuit notes, “Davis believed that the proposed ‘History Building Night’ could save something from a bad situation.”

On the night of April 5, 2025, Cooprider is accused of lacing the hot chocolate with the abortion medication while supposedly caring for a dog. Within thirty minutes of consuming the tainted drink, Davis began bleeding and experiencing convulsions.

The lawsuit claims, “Sometimes before midnight, Davis began bleeding and convulsions after consuming the contaminated drink.”

Cooprider had promised to help by picking up Davis’ disabled mother so he could take Davis to the hospital. However, he reportedly left, never to return. The lawsuit suggests he deceived her to delay seeking medical attention that could have potentially saved the fetus.

It states, “Now Davis has realized that Cooprider poisoned her (and her baby) with the abortion pills he bought.”

Another neighbor ultimately took Davis to the hospital, but the doctors were unable to save her baby. The lawsuit maintains that Texas laws permit parents to sue individuals responsible for fetal death due to negligence or carelessness.

It explains, “Each of the defendants caused the death of Ms. Davis’ unborn child through tort.”
