The Brewers are on a winning streak, feeling quite euphoric about it.
On Wednesday, they achieved their 12th consecutive victory by besting the Pirates 12-5. This impressive win not only delights fans but also means free burgers will be available throughout Wisconsin, thanks to local chain George Webb. They’ve now matched franchise records for the most consecutive wins.
This unique promotion has been around since the 1940s when George Webb confidently predicted that the Milwaukee Braves would win 12 games straight.
The chain had to follow through on its promise when the Brewers managed a similar feat in 2018, and again in 1987 when they set a record with 13 wins at the start of the season, resulting in the distribution of 168,000 burgers.
For this latest run, the restaurant is gearing up to give away 90,000 free burgers along with 100,000 redeemable vouchers. They’re expected to reveal the promotion date soon.
As for the Brewers, their recent win elevated their record to an impressive 76-44.
Fans were certainly energetic during the game between the Pirates and the Brewers, which took place on August 13, 2025. It’s been noted that Milwaukee’s team has seen a remarkable performance, logging at least 100 runs during these 12 victories, marking a significant milestone in the franchise’s history.
The Brewers, having scored over 12 runs consecutively for the first time since 2018, will enjoy a break on Thursday before taking on the Cincinnati Reds, where they’ll aim to tie both team and franchise records.
